| ABOUT: Where is Gaddie and Tood located? Gaddie and Tood is located in Springfield, Missouri in my in-home art studio where I have drawn and created for over 5 years. How many people work at Gaddie and Tood? Just me! I also have 2 daughters who help out when their schedules allow. Where did the name Gaddie and Tood come from? My great, great aunts, Gladys and Gertrude who travel to Missouri in a covered wagon.... Gaddie and Tood were their nicknames (also nicknames for my mom and aunt) I just thought it was cute! ORDERING QUESTIONS: How do I give you the party information for my invitation? 2 ways... ONE, there is a comment section at the bottom of the check out page... You can type as much as you want... TWO, after you place your order, send an email to robin@gaddieandtood.com and tell me all the fun details. The party hat I am ordering is shown with a "4" on it, can I order it with a "1" on it? Yes! The photos on my site are only examples, party hats and ALL Gaddie and Tood items are made to order. During check out, bottom of the page, is a "comments" section, use it to type in specific instructions for your items, or send me an email after you place your order. How long will it take for me to receive my order? That depends on a few things... 1.How long it takes you and I to finalize a proof. I will work closely with you, via email, with computer files for you to view examples of what you have ordered, which might take 2 days or a week. 2. Volume of the order...EVERYTHING is handmade from scratch...the more you order, the longer it takes, usually 5- 10 days.(orders exceeding 300 items may take 3-4 weeks) 3. Shipping..priority mail is 2-3 days to most cities in the US. How much does it cost to have an illustration drawn of my child to match their party theme? There is no charge on the FIRST drawing. Redrawing or excessive changes (more than 2) will result in a $25 charge...please allow a lead time of 4 weeks before needing your invitations, and be prepare to give me MANY details...how you want your child to look...hair color, length, texture, light or dark skin, "costume" or clothes to match theme, example: cowboy, astronaut, mermaid, ballerina, etc...I will need an order, colors and details BEFORE I start drawing. Can you match the colors? Yes! Well...I can try. Either send an attachment of an example of what you want...or try to describe it in an email and I will send you a proof(after you have ordered)...Keep in mind that computer screens vary in color. How will I know what my invitations will look like? Will I receive a proof? Yes! I will send an attachment in an email for you to preview. Please keep in mind, that the finished items will be printed on ivory and have scallop edges and be all glittery. These will be only computer files to check spelling and format. Hard copies are not available. |
